R.M. of Pipestone C.D.C. Resident Grant

Deadline has been extended to January 31, 2012 @ 4pm

The R.M. of Pipestone Community Development Corporation announces a $500 grant that will be given per dwelling or unit within a rental dwelling to residents, either ratepayers or tenants, who have maintained residency in the R.M. of Pipestone from December 1, 2010 to December 1, 2011. 

The R.M. of Pipestone Community Development Corporation asks recipients of this grant to consider using these funds in your area to benefit your community.  These funds could be used to support halls, churches, cemeteries, clubs, recreation facilities, daycare, the community foundation or to contribute to infrastructure upgrades such as the water pipeline, paving, etc.

Notice to all Ratepayers

If you are a Credit Union Member you can now pay your taxes online.

All you need is the roll from the top right hand corner of your tax bill.

When it asks you to enter an account number it is the roll number including

all zeroes, but do not include the decimal point. It's that easy.

Sump Pumps & Backwater Valves

Installation Subsidy Program

The R.M. of Pipestone is offering a basement flood protection program

for the installation of Backwater Valves and/or Sump Pumps.

The program will pay up to 60% of the installation cost to a maximum of

 $3000.00 per household

($1000 max. for backwater valve installation

and $2,000 max. for a sump pump drainage system).

Homeowners must hire a licensed plumber, ensure appropriate permits are obtained and arrange for necessary inspection following completion.

Call for Volunteers

The RM of Pipestone Emergency Plan Management group is seeking members to become involved in emergency planning. The Emergency Plan Management Group is a group of volunteers that train and practice in emergency management to provide management services to elected officials and first responders (FIRE DEPT, EMS, RCMP etc) in the event of a local emergency.
