R.M. of Pipestone

Rural Municipality of Pipestone requires a Seasonal Utility Operator to perform a variety of general maintenance duties. Successful candidate will operate all types of maintenance equipment within the municipality (grader/tractor/mower/mulcher/trucks), be mechanically inclined, have welding skills and maintain equipment logs and complete time sheets.  A Class 1 license with air endorsement, preferably with “S” is an asset.

Duties include casual operation of grader, mowing roadside ditches, assisting with repairs to culverts, bridges, road building, fencing, signage, and relief work for landfill site operators.

Work to begin as soon as possible.  Wages $14.25 - $21.00 per hour plus benefits.  Summer work hours are 90 hours bi-weekly, which consists of a 10 hour day (7-5:30) and working 9 days in a two week period, with a rotating day off.
