There is always something to do in the RM of Pipestone making it a great place to vacation with your family.  You can shop at the many stores, play a round of golf, take in a movie, or relax at your campsite.

During your next visit be sure to take in some of the following sites and locations throughout the municipality:

Reston & District Museum:

Is open to the public and is home to may pioneer displays.  The McDonald House has now been re-located to the Museum site for public viewing and tours.

"Dollhouse":

Saskatchewan artist Heather Benning transformed an abandoned farmhouse, on #2 highway just east of Sinclair, into a giant dollhouse.  Each item of furniture staged in the life-size dollhouse dates back to around 1968, when the house was abandoned.  For more information on the project, visit Heather's website www.heatherbenning.ca.

Pipestone Recreational Campground:
Located a 1/2 mile off of highway #2, south of Turnbull's Sales and Service Ltd. and provides water, washroom facilities and electrical outlets.

Reston Campground:
Located at the Reston Golf Course and has 15 fully serviced sites with washrooms, showers and a dumping station. Please call 877-3511 to book your site now!

Sinclair Campground:
Which is located at the Lion's Park, is well treed and has water and washroom facilities.  

Reston Golf Course:
Is a nine hole par 34 course with large undulating grass greens, licensed club house and driving range.

Canupawakpa Trail:
From the air Pipestone Creek appears as a long slender "ribbon-of-green" flanked by agricultural land.  A trip through the Canupawakpa Trail will be one remembered for a long time.

Cromer Golf Course:
Is located in the scenic Cromer Valley.  This well-treed 9 hole, sand green course is always a pleasure to play.

Reston Memorial Park:
The Park is located in Reston and has a large variety of trees which are unique to Manitoba.  It is also the home of the Reston and District Museum, the Historic McDonald House, antique tractors and cars as well as tennis courts.

Memorial Theatre:
Located in Reston, the Memorial Theatre offers movie entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. The theatre was built in 1946 and is one of the oldest in the area.  Its first show to grace the screen was " Smokey" , with two sold out shows.

R.M. of Pipestone/Albert Recreation Commission:
The Recreation Commission consists of one Recreation Director and a Board with five members.  Our goal is to encourage and provide opportunities for people to experience leisure through the initiation of a public recreation program, which shall include all aspects of recreation – physical, social, cultural, and artistic, all striving to meet the needs of the community. During the summer we run a summer program for the children.

This program usually runs 4 – 5 days per week.

Reston District Library:

Serving the RM of Pipestone and the RM of Albert. Located on the main street in Reston the Library is a great place to spend time. Two computers with High Speed Internet are available for public use. Books, current magazines, movies, and audio books are only some of the other benefits provided by our district library. Inter-Library-Loans, Manitoba In Motion Pedometers, Victor Reader CD Players for the visually or physically impaired are also available for use. If you would rather access free eBook downloads for your iPods from eLiabraries Manitoba stop in and the librarians can set you up with a user name and password. A DLP Projector is available for rent to community groups or for private use.

Summer Children's Program every Tuesday with the Recreation Department.
